Job Description ◆Responsible for technology development, a key element of business growth, in a team directly under the CTO

This is a research engineer position for document analysis centered on computer vision in the Advanced Technology R&D Department, which researches and develops AI engines that form the basis of our accounting field-specific AI services "Robota" and "Remota". As an expert in research and development, you will be responsible for proactively tackling technical issues in the accounting field, and applying the results to the company's products and developing them into new products.

After joining the company, you will be assigned to the R&D team, where you will work as part of a team to promote research and development.

【Responsibilities】
　- Ongoing R&D operations and new R&D on technical issues in accounting vouchers (including data)
・Character detection and recognition from accounting vouchers (including data)
・Structuring, classification, and information extraction from accounting forms (including data)
・Pre-processing of scanned and photographed accounting vouchers (including data), such as extraction and distortion correction
　- Consultant for annotation technology related to computer vision

After joining the company, you will participate in research and development around information extraction from accounting vouchers and character recognition in order to familiarize yourself with the work and environment. After that, you will lead the development of new functions and improvements related to computer vision using various machine learning methods, including deep learning, in the company's services.

In the area of annotation technology, you will be consulted as an expert on how to improve performance during product development, and so on.

Job
Requirements		 【Required】
・Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning, especially in the field of computer vision
・Practical knowledge of programming, algorithms, and data structures
・Experience in research and development in natural language processing at universities or companies, especially in document analysis
・Software implementation skills required to validate new methods
・Experience in implementing and evaluating models using ML libraries such as PyTorch and Tensorflow
・English language ability to read and write papers and technical documents, and to converse in a professional manner.
・Japanese language ability to analyze Japanese texts
